Im just wondering the majority of BL's washing routines...

Body and facial.

State how many times a day you wash you're face and with what methods/products?

Whats you're skin type?

Me: Wash my face twice a day without fail, morning and before bed.

I wet face with tepid water, gently lather cleanser, wash off with tepid water and pat dry with a face cloth

Being the modern day metro sexual man I will also apply some moisteriser to keep my face looking fresh and not dry.

I use some natural ghetto cleanser of ebay which doesn't irratate my skin.
Cant even use Niveas Alcohol and fragtrance free face wash! There Moisterisers is okay though!

I shower when I feel dirty, every otherday mostly, everyday seems to dry me out and is time consuming,

As you can tell I have sensitive skin prone to redness and recently spider veins as said in other thread...

This might seem like a shitty thread but i know of many people that hardly wash their face regually and have nice skin?!

Some people only wash before bedtime cos of eczma and shit...

I wash my face with soap 2x a day, more if I've been stoned and eating greasy foods.

I shower at least once a day (after working out and sometimes before going out).

I shampoo my hair once a week (it stays relatively dry from swimming in a chlorinated pool).

I shower one to two times a day. Always before getting in bed. More if I'm sick or hungover. Hot water can cure anything. And I wash my face in the shower.

In winter I shower once a day because it's too fucking cold to subject myself to the torture of jumping out wet in to cold air more than that.

In summer however, it's a TOTALLY different story.

I hate HATE being sweaty/sticky, so I shower at least twice a day in summer.

I wash my face twice a day, then moisturise.

Pretty standard really!

I'll give the whole routine.

I'll start in the morning. I get up, get in the shower and wash my whole body with an organic honey almond soap (smells sooo good). I shave(down there, legs, armpits). Deoderant/perfume and all that stuff. I love smelling nice.

Then once out of the shower I wash my face with Dr. Bronners organic peppermint soap (another amazing soap, by far my favorite, sometimes I use this on my body too and omg use this stuff while you are rolling and you will FREAK!) I then put on my acne medication, add some grapeseed oil for moisture, blot off the excess and do my makeup.

When I get off work, I wash my face again with the peppermint soap and take all my makeup off unless I'm going somewhere.

Depending on the day, I take another shower. This is when I'll wash my hair, if I choose to. But honestly my hair is the one part of me I don't wash very often. I read somewhere awhile back that the oils in your scalp help keep your hair healthy and conditioned. So every night I brush the oils down through my hair and it's true, not only is it shinier and easier to manage, but its growing faster too, weirdly enough. So I wash my hair maybe 2-4 nights a week now, instead of every day like I used to.

I think this may have been more info than you were asking for lol. But thats pretty much my routine. :D

I wash my face in the shower, and before I sleep.
I use those little facial loofah circles because I like to feel very clean.
My skin is not sensitive at all and it is quite oily, so this works perfectly for me.
Squeaky clean FTW!

I take a long shower once a day, sometimes soaping myself twice all over, as well as shampoo and
conditioner. Use a loofah for my body, soap for my face, different soap for my body, wash for
down there, etc.

lol loofah. it's indispensable that's for sure. i like to give myself a good wash after i work up a sweat, usually at night before going out or going to bed

and by 'wash' i mean hop in the shower, lather up with ivory, wash once with shampoo (i find shampooing twice to be really unnecessary) then scrub myself dry on a few cloths

Shower once a day, except I never wash my dilz para keep the musk strong

Dry yourself off while you're still in the shower (water off of course). The heat stays trapped in there long enough afterwards for you to dry off comfortably :)

I learned this pearl of wisdom years ago and now I never have to endure the freezing post-shower cold air that used to prevent me from bathing.

I shower about once every few weeks, maybe more in the summer. Ive actually once gone a year showering only once or twice. I just cant be bothered most of the time. Ill be getting a job as a personal trainer soon so i guess that will have to change..

I hardly wash my entire face at all. Maybe just a little soap around the eyes to get eye make up off and then I just put on a pore refining toner & moisturizer. I just recently started using the toner though.

I never break out. My skin isn't oily or dry and it's nice and even. If anything, I think that washing your face too much can ruin your skin. I think that the skin produces natural oils that keep your face fresh and healthy and if you wash it too much then it just strips all that goodness away. I don't know how true that is, but it's just my philosophy. I just don't believe the face is meant to be washed so many times. I probably wash my entire face once or twice a week (but I do use a toner and that's great for cleaning up the face as well). Might seem gross but I ALWAYS get compliments on my skin. I get told that it's "glowing". It all depends on your skin. Everyone is different. I'm just lucky I guess.

Oh yeah, I shower every day, sometimes twice. Wash my hair everyday but don't condition (I have fine hair so conditioning too much can weigh it down).

Id love to have your skin type, i too believe washing day and night can fck up your skin however if i go a few dats without washing i get oily and dead flakey skin, its a fighting battle.

Im truely envious of the people who dont hardly wash yet have lovely skin and hardly break out!

have you a pic tp shpw your radiant complexion :D

Has any one used "elave" [roducts ots ment to be the cats whiskers for ya skin no preservatives, colourings, alcohol, parabens etc, woerd thing os though woth such as presumable mild cleaner it says not to use near the eyes:S
;d
You should check out the video the management are naked

Ideally I would love to shower as soon as I get up. I love that fresh clean feeling first thing in the morning. It wakes me up and I feel ready to go. I have a mini heater in my bathroom, that keeps it nice and toasty, so winter isn't a problem. However, I usually have class at the crack of dawn, so Im forced to shower at night so I can catch those extra Z'zzzz.

Had bad acne back in the day, still flares up if I eat too many carbs.

Sea salt is great as an exfoliant(sp?), all natural too baby! Apple-Cider Vinegar is good for the skin as well(some even wash their hair with it). Don't worry, your shower may smell like a salad, but you will not. In the past, I'd use all the Clearasil/Neutragena/Random chemicals/etc...now that I'm pretty hard-core regarding diet choices(65% fat/30% protein/5%carbs), my acne is all but gone.

I do think many of us over-shower, use too much soap, abuse the scalp, etc...I'll wash my hair three times a week at most, and it looks better than ever. The skin can take care of itself, for the most part...imo of course!

i clean myself when i feel sticky. prolly once or twice a week, unless im in sloth mode, which is then, whenever the fuck i feel like it.

I agree although I think with longer hair you've got to wash it more often, I learned this only recently as my hair is pretty long for a dude (usually only trim it a few times a year) and if I go more than a couple days without washing it I'll start looking like a greaseball.

I shower once a day generally. In the wintertime, my skin gets ultra dry from having the heat on and driving with the heat on in the car so I really try to shower only once a day so I don't dry out my skin even more.

I will use either Dr Bronners hemp peppermint soap or just plain ol' ivory soap on my body in the shower and then clinique facial soap on my face. I will also use the Burts Bee's deep pore scrub every once in awhile as well. I usually just wash my face in the shower unless it feels greasy before I go to bed and then I will wash it again.

I feel like I need to shower on a daily basis or I just get an icky gross feeling.

I wash my face about 2-3 times a day with soap (any natural soap) and then in between with water and a face towel if I feel like it.

I take a shower twice a day (minimum).

In the morning I brush my whole body and face with a dry brush to get all the dead skin out, massage myself with some herbal oil I got in India, and then shower with a shampoo bar and soap.

At night I just shampoo and soap. Sometimes I take a shower in between my two main showers, but I don't use shampoo.

When I'm in a cold country I don't shampoo my hair so often. Sometimes I settle for one shower a day and a scrub with a face towel at night. Most people from my (hot) country would find this gross, but it helps keep my skin from drying out.
